From 2003 to 2006, Thekla was trained to become an Assistant for Design-Technology with the Focus on Camera and Cut. During this time, she discovered her enthusiasm for Cinema Sound.

After a very good graduation, a second apprenticeship with StudioFunk – Produktionshaus für Audiovisuelles followed. So she became a Qualified Sound Operator.

Since a permanent appointment in 2008, she has been editing TV-Films and Series, Cinema-Shortfilms from the HamburgMediaSchool and Foleys. She works as the Cinema-Mix-Assistant of Ralph Thiekötter and specialised herself in 5.1/ 7.1 – Cinema Sound-editing and – design. Good cooperation and a high standard with full commitment are always included.

She collects sounds all over the world and in everyday situations, also specifically for current projects and has been happy about unique sound results many times.
