Sound, music and instruments have always been integral to her life.

Her fascination with sound began in childhood using numerous cassette recorders, progressed to live acts with synthesizers run by Atari’s, to silent film scores, compositions for children’s theatre and radio plays, through to her current work since 2003, as a sound designer.

She is passionate about TV and feature-length documentaries and is constantly inspired by directors who devote themselves to important and real-life issues.

She also mixes many of the films that she has designed the sound for. Hence, as a sound designer, she inherently understands the elements that are required and succeed for a professional mix.

As a musician, rhythm and dynamics are in her blood. So she often receives the feedback that her sound work would literally draws the viewer into the film.

Own Equipment: Pro Tools 5.1 workstation, digital mixing console, extensive sound library, various sound generators and musical instruments, Electric Bass, Guitar, turk

Languages: German (Native Speaker), English (nearly fluent), French (good basic knowlege)
