Anastasiia Nasonkina is a sound mixer and sound designer for film, theater, and games. From 2016 to 2021, she studied “Sound Design for Audiovisual Media” at the Institute of Film and Television in Saint Petersburg. At the same time, she worked on theater projects, experimented with multichannel formats, and designed binaural interactive audio promenades. In 2019, she participated in the Bayreuth Summer University course “German Film Culture” thanks to a DAAD scholarship. After successfully completing her diploma in 2021, she studied Time-Based Media at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. In 2022, she began her master’s degree at the Film University Babelsberg with a focus on film sound mixing and game audio. In 2024, she co-designed the Focus Sound section at the 53rd Sehsüchte Film Festival. Anastasiia has been working as a student trainee at Rotor Film since 2022. In particular, Anastasiia values working with directors on films dealing with social and queer subjects.
